The add-on meticulously recreates a 40-mile (64 km) stretch of the real-world line. Players can operate services between key terminals and points along the route:
- Terminals: New York Penn Station and Hoboken Terminal.
- End Point: Dover, New Jersey.
- Stations: All 22 detailed stations are included, complete with authentic signage and realistic, audible passenger announcements.
Gameplay Features
The simulation offers a variety of gameplay options:
- Timetable Mode: A full schedule of services, including the direct “Midtown Direct” trains to NYC and traditional services to Hoboken.
- Scenarios & Challenges: Specific scenario-based gameplay, a “Conductor Mode,” random events like signal delays, and collectible items to find at stations.
Included Rolling Stock
The route includes two authentic pieces of NJ TRANSIT rolling stock for players to operate:
- NJ TRANSIT Arrow III 2-car EMU: A classic electric multiple unit train, typically used for Hoboken-focused services.
- NJ TRANSIT ALP-46 Locomotive & MultiLevel Cars: A modern electric locomotive paired with MultiLevel passenger cars in a push-pull configuration, primarily utilized for express services into New York Penn Station.
