- Random Events & Faults: The game introduces dynamic events such as signal delays, speed restrictions, and equipment failures on your train, requiring you to adapt and troubleshoot on the fly.
- Platform & Train Announcements: An increased level of immersion is provided through audible announcements on both platforms and trains, detailing journey information and passenger ambience that adjusts dynamically based on the number of passengers.
- Routes: The standard edition includes three new routes:
- Riviera Line (UK): Exeter – Plymouth & Paignton with the GWR Class 802 and Class 150/2.
- Morristown Line (US): New York & Hoboken – Dover with NJ TRANSIT® Arrow III EMU and ALP-46 locomotive.
- Bahnstrecke Leipzig – Dresden (Germany): An extension featuring the DB BR 411 ICE-T, DB BR 442 Talent 2, and loco-hauled passenger trains.
- Creator Tools: Existing features like the Livery Designer and Scenario Planner are available, allowing users to customize their experience and share creations online.
- Content Transfer: Existing compatible content from previous versions of Train Sim World can be carried over to Train Sim World 6.
